12th National Organic Fair held in Lalitpur
12th National Organic Fair was organized by Department of Agriculture/ Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development/Government of Nepal in collaboration with different partners from 1 to 3 March 2019 at Jawalakhel ground, Lalitpur. ERI was among the collaborating partners. Dr Krishna Paudel from ERI presented a paper about the Myths and Reality of organic farming at the event.
The major attraction of the event was the presence of more than hundred stalls promoting varieties of organic products including fresh vegetables, tea, coffee, honey, apples, walnut, beans etc. The products were also kept for sale. Local food items were also available at the food court. Local and indigenous products of Karnali were exhibited by ERI at one of the stalls.
