Celebration of 21st National Paddy Day

This year, the 21st National Paddy Day (Asar 15) was celebrated throughout Nepal under the slogan “Climate resilient farming, increase in paddy production“. To celebrate this occasion, ERI Nepal in collaboration with ForestAction Nepal, the secretariat of the Alliance of Agriculture for Food, in collaboration with ANAJ and Kalidevi Technical School, organized a Khetipati Utsav. The event included the rice transplantation in a field situated at Kavresthali, Kathmandu, and was attended by around 100 individuals from diverse sectors who shared common visions and objectives. As part of the celebration, folk artists also performed Dohori songs highlighting the importance of sustainable agriculture.
